WWE is all set to host a big PLE en route to the Road to WrestleMania. For the first time since 2018, the Stamford-based company is returning to Australia for a major event, the Elimination Chamber: Perth. While Rhea Ripley, an Australia native will be in action against Nia Jax defending her coveted title, a home-grown talent in “Big” Bronson Reed is unfortunately going to miss performing in front of his family.

This week on Raw, Reed faced off against Bobby Lashley in a high-stakes chamber qualifying match. Bronson Reed, visibly emotional, was approached by a backstage interviewer. He admitted his disappointment, expressing sorrow over not being able to compete in his hometown. Reed lamented that he wouldn’t get to perform for his people.

Super disappointed. This is what I dreamt, my whole life, being able to be on WWE PLE in my home country of Australia. And I feel like I've let down my family, I've let down the fans, and I've let down all of Australia.

Despite the significant opportunity at hand, Reed stumbled on the Road to Elimination Chamber, ultimately failing to secure a spot in the anticipated match. While the prospect of facing Seth “Freakin” Rollins at the Grandest Stage of Them All loomed large, the big superstar suffered a much more crucial defeat. Sami Zayn could relate to Reed as he also failed to secure his spot in the match.

When asked about his plans for WrestleMania, Bronson Reed stated there were no current plans but teased a potential turning point. He would later reflect upon his participation in last year’s Elimination Chamber match for the United States Championship. Unfortunately, he came up short in that bout too. It seems he might have to wait until next year for another shot at victory.

WWE seemingly begins build-up for Jade Cargill’s return at Elimination Chamber Perth

Recently, a leaked picture from the WWE Network surfaced involving superstars participating in women’s chamber match. Although the picture was blurred, the participants could easily be identified. The blurred participants resembled Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, Naomi, Tiffany Stratton, and Jade Cargill. The initial three names have secured their spots, portraying the leaked picture as truthful.

Next week’s SmackDown will feature two exciting matches with Naomi facing Zelina Vega and Tiffany Stratton taking on Shotzi. Should Stratton and Naomi emerge victorious, the defeated competitors will join Zoey Stark, Michin, and Shayna Baszler in a Last Chance Battle Royal on Raw next week.

The winner of this Battle Royal will become the sixth participant in the chamber match. WWE might swerve the Universe by bringing in Cargill in the Battle Royal to boost the star power of the big event to be held in Australia.

Moreover, the victor of the Chamber match will earn the opportunity to challenge Rhea Ripley or Nia Jax for the coveted Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 40. It now remains to be which of this women will step up and come out on top from Elimination Chamber.
