R-Truth will have to perform a mentally excruciating task next week.

Obsessions can be bamboozling at times. However, the one R-Truth has with The Judgment Day is arguably the most entertaining storyline going on Monday Night Raw at the moment. This week, the 51-year-old legend took the WWE Universe onboard, narrating his journey of how he joined the villainous stable. Truth said that from the moment he was born, he dreamt of being in the Judgment Day.

However, a week after such an inspiring story, he’s set to take the gauntlet against those whom he considers his family. Next Monday, R-Truth will reunite with The Miz to take on Finn Balor and Damian Priest. The match stems from The Judgment Day’s disastrous outing in Portland last night. First, Finn Balor lost his match against Tommaso Ciampa. And then, JD McDonagh, who was entrusted by Rhea Ripley to take care of The Miz, too, went down.

In a backstage segment, while all the other Judgment Day members were disgruntled at R-Truth’s shenanigans, Damian Priest was the only one who found them amusing. Despite JD McDonagh and Rhea Ripley getting sick of the man who looks up to John Cena, Priest assured them he’d take care of Truth when the time is right.

Even though Truth’s seems staunchest on Judgment Day, he forgets his role when JD McDonagh is within the touching distance. Similarly, while The Irish Ace locked horns with the Miz, R-Truth was cheering for The A-Lister, rather than for his assumed comrade.

However, as things went on, he said he was on JD’s side. But when the latter lost, the former 24/7 Champion celebrated with The Miz. Michael Cole was too bonkers about what was happening on Raw.

Could WWE recreate the Sami Zayn magic with R-Truth in The Judgment Day?

As much as the fans adored Sami Zayn‘s inclusion in The Bloodline, it could be replicated with R-Truth in The Judgment Day, to some degree. Even though the latter won’t be able to tap the levels its proverbial counterpart did, there’s still a possibility.

WWE could make the case that Truth slowly gets accepted by the group, runs its course, engenders comedic masterclass, and reaches its culmination. And the way R-Truth is admired by the fans certainly makes one think that it could work.

Not that long ago, the fans were starting to feel enough of The Judgment Day, with the group getting unfettered exposure, which many thought was getting stale. But ever since R-Truth has become a cog in the wheel, the Rhea Ripley-led stable is once again getting into the act. And once again, the man who oversees the creative duties, Triple H, is getting the love of his fans.
