Nia Jax made her shocking return on this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw. Jax interfered in the Women’s World Championship match between Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez, costing the latter. Following the shocking turn of events, Rodriguez broke her silence on X and sent a strong message to the returning superstar.
Raquel Rodriguez is undoubtedly one of the most formidable forces in Monday Night Raw’s women’s division. Rodriguez is currently in an acrimonious feud with her former best friend, Rhea Ripley. Both superstars battled each other for the Women’s World Championship at Payback 2023.
However, Rodriguez failed to capture the championship after an interference from Dominic Mysterio. This week on RAW, the 32-year-old squared off against Rhea Ripley in a rematch for the Women’s World Championship. Nia Jax ambushed her when Raquel was on the brink of scoring a victory.
Following the attack from the Irresistible Force, Raquel Rodriguez addressed her situation on her X handle. She wrote, “Well…I see this match just isn’t gonna have a fair ending one way or the other.” Going by her post, the 32-year-old seems visibly upset with the constant interference in her matches. There is a high possibility of a potential triple-threat title match between the trio in WWE’s upcoming premium live event, Fastlane.
Nia Jax returned to the red brand this week, targeting Raquel Rodriguez and Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley. This marked her first WWE appearance since Royal Rumble 2023. Known as the Irresistible Force, Jax is a formidable presence in the women’s division. She previously held the Raw Women’s Championship once and the Women’s Tag Team Championship twice.
Raquel Rodriguez praises Ronda Rousey

Raquel Rodriguez was recently a guest on the ESPR wrestling podcast. She was asked about her experience working with the former UFC fighter and multi-time Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey last year on SmackDown. Raquel had a cascade of words in praise of Rousey. She went on to mention The Rowdy One’s gargantuan star presence and how much she cares about the women’s division in general.
The former NXT superstar said, “Ronda carries herself like a superstar; Ronda is great.“But she’s also been willing to kind of help the rest of us along the way too, and elevate a lot of the women in the division. She wants a lot for the women in the division; I will say that. She does care about the women’s division for WWE.”
Raquel Rodriguez and Ronda Rousey had a short-lived feud in the summer of 2022. It was when WWE moved Rodriguez to the blue brand from NXT. She showed up to an open challenge issued by Ronda Rousey during her SmackDown Women’s Championship reign. Both superstars faced each other in a hard-hitting match last year in December. However, Rodriguez failed to defeat the Baddest Woman On The Planet.
