On the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, Seth Rollins was scheduled to have an open challenge for his World Heavyweight Championship. However, the open challenge never happened as Finn Balor brutally assaulted Rollins. It was Vince McMahon who changed the plan at the last minute. The former WWE Chairman wanted Balor to attack the Champion to showcase his dominance and anger.

Speaking to Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that Vince McMahon wanted to do something different on Raw to get the fans more hyped up. Seth Rollins will be defending his title against Finn Balor at Money in the Bank 2023. Apparently, McMahon wanted to give a bigger angle to Seth and Finn’s storyline before their match. Vince McMahan has always been known for his last minute changes in WWE.

The vicious attack by Finn Balor on Seth Rollins this week on Raw really made the fans more excited. They were fully involved during the brawl between the two. Balor mercilessly kept attacking the Visionary, as he seemed to be in a very bad mood. It made a heavy impact on Rollins, as he was struggling to even stand after that attack.

He has been a Grand Slam Champion and a Money in the Bank winner in the past too. His recent championship run has been going quite well, as it is getting a good response from the fans.

The WWE Universe is on the edge of their seats to see the match between Finn Balor and Seth Rollins. The two superstars have a long history. Balor defeated Rollins back in SummerSlam 2016 to win the first ever WWE Universal Championship. Therefore, fans are waiting to see them clash in an epic bout again.

Priest is one of the participants in the Money in the Bank ladder match. Therefore, if he wins the briefcase, he could actually cash it in the same night.

There has been some tension between Finn Balor and Damian Priest for the past few weeks. There is a huge possibility that Priest could turn on Balor at Money in the Bank and cash the contract on him in case he wins it. Therefore, it will be interesting to see what happens at the upcoming premium live event in July.
