Release date of Seth Rollins’ MCU debut in Captain America: Brave New World gets announced

Another top superstar who recently dabbled in Hollywood is none other than Seth Rollins. Speaking of which, Rollins’ starrer Captain America 4 finally gets a release date.

Seth Rollins was confirmed to be a part of the upcoming superhero film, Captain America: Brave New World. It is a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the fourth installment in the Captain America film franchise. Over the last few months, the release date of the movie faced postponement due to the recent actors’ strike in Hollywood.

Initially, the magnum opus was seemingly scheduled for a mid-2024 release. However, the long-standing WGA and the subsequent SAG-Aftra protests of writers and actors put a brake on the slated release date of the film. Now that the SAG-Afra strike has finally concluded, Disney has allotted a new release date for the upcoming film. Marvel Studios is gearing up for a February 14, 2025, theatrical release.

Moreover, Seth Rollins is the workhorse champion of WWE at the moment. Nonetheless, before winning the Heavyweight title, The Visionary missed a few episodes of Raw in mid-2023. The actor was on the sets of the aforementioned flick in Atlanta. The 37-year-old is potentially playing a negative character in the movie.

After months of postponement and title changes, the fourth installment of the Captain America film franchise has a release date set for February 14, 2025. Moreover, the film features WWE World Champion Seth Rollins in a prominent role. However, the details regarding his character remain unclear thus far.

Speaking of which, Rollins recently sat down for an interview with Comicbook. In the said interview, the champion was asked to give some details regarding his role in the film. The 37-year-old, however, stayed tight-lipped. He stated that set filming photographs will likely leak online, but he can’t give away any information. Furthermore, he added that he is looking forward to seeing the audience’s reaction to his work in the film.

I am sworn to secrecy. Pretty tight lipped on anything related to this project. Obviously, the photographs have made their way online, nothing to be done about that, but it was a very good experience for me. I'm looking forward to seeing what the reaction is from everybody else who gets to get eyes on the project.

Seth Rollins might have refused to answer his role in the forthcoming film. Nonetheless, the WWE Universe and MCU fanatics have already begun speculating that the champion is likely a part of the notorious Serpent Society based on his set costume. Moreover, an entertainment scooper via X indicated that Rollins is portraying the character of “King Cobra” in Captain America 4.
