Golden State Warrior’s top basketball player, Draymond Green, has become the subject of public interest lately, albeit for all the wrong reasons. The NBA star was ejected for putting his rival team member in a chokehold. Later, the video clip went viral all over the internet, eventually making it to the wrestling community. That said, WWE superstar Rhea Ripley recently reacted to Green’s viral chokehold.
The viral headlock of Draymond Green became meme material on social media. Jumping on the bandwagon, the official handle of “WWE on Fox” made a post about the headlock incident. In a comparison post, Fox posted the images of Green and Ripley, asking who did the headlock better. Reacting to the post, Rhea Ripley dropped a one-word message.
The first image was from the latest NBA game, where Draymond Green put his opponent, Rudy Gobert, in a chokehold. The second image featured Rhea Ripley putting Dominik Mysterio in a chokehold using her legs. Quoting the post, the 27-year-old wrote, “Mami,” claiming she doled out a way better one than the Warriors’ star.
Moreover, Ripley choked out Mysterio on the August 1, 2022, edition of Raw, when the latter was a babyface. Her one-word response to the post garnered some interesting reactions from the fans. Referring to her sleeper hold on Dirty Dom, some fans noted that it was when Dominik decided to switch sides and join the notorious heel stable.
Drew McIntyre blasts Rhea Ripley’s entrance theme song at the gym following his heel turn on Raw this week
Over the last few months, Drew McIntyre has been functioning with a chip on his shoulder. The Scottish Warrior was already dissatisfied with the arrival of Jey Uso on Raw. Later, he faced a clean loss at the hands of Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel.
Consequently, Drew McIntyre embraced his darker side this week on Monday Night Raw, hinting at an alliance with The Judgment Day. That said, McIntyre recently played the theme song of Rhea Ripley at a gym.
Drew McIntyre is easily the personification of the term “fitness goals.” The 38-year-old maintains an incredibly jacked physique, hitting the gym regularly. In such a recent gym session, the Scottish Warrior lifted weights. However, there was something else about the clip that stood out the most.
While working out, Drew McIntyre was playing Rhea Ripley’s entrance song, “This is My Brutality“. He shared the gym video on his TikTok. A fan brought it to everybody’s attention and posted the same clip on X. With McIntyre dropping hints about a potential alliance with The Judgment Day, it will be interesting to see how his dynamics would shape up with the members of the heel stable.
