The duo of Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio has been ruling the internet for quite a while now. The most loved women’s superstar paired with the most hated men’s star of the current roster was an idea that invested the fans. In addition to that, Mysterio’s NXT North American Championship added to the prestige of the couple. But now that Dominik has lost his title, Ripley does not hesitate to be on his side and states that he is still her champion.

Dominik lost the North American Title in the opening match of NXT Deadline 2023 against Dragon Lee. It was a shocking result, which made the fans go gaga over Mysterio’s future. But Rhea took her stand amidst the chaos and sent a message to her Latino Heat. In a post on X, Mami wrote that she is indeed mad and sad to see Mysterio’s loss. But then even claimed him to be THE BIGGEST WORKHORSE in WWE this year.

Ripley added that Dominik’s rapid growth has been unbelievable which makes her feel proud of him. Even though the title might not be on his shoulders, Mysterio will continue reigning as Rhea’s champion. A picture of them holding their respective championships at Monday Night Raw backstage was posted. Her post read:

Am I upset? Sad? Mad? Yes. But @dominik_35 has been THE BIGGEST WORKHORSE within WWE all year! His growth has been insane… Very VERY proud! Forever my Champion #NXTDeadline

The reason behind Mysterio’s loss could be traced back to The Judgment Day’s lack of support. In many instances, when Dominik has been helpless in his title defense, Ripley or any other stablemate has come to his rescue. But the scenario was not the same this Saturday, as he was alone and faced the loss.

Maxxine Dupri’s second singles match is scheduled against Rhea Ripley

The Women’s World Champion, Rhea Ripley, looks unstoppable in her current WWE run. The Eradicator has not lost a televised singles match since her loss in May 2022 against Liv Morgan. The addition of the title has made her even more protected, as she dominates her opponent, giving her no chances to lose.

But in an absolute out-of-the-blue manner, WWE has announced Maxxine Dupri to face Ripley next week on Raw. The non-title bout will only provide Dupri with the experience to share the ring with The Eradicator. While Rhea might not sit back in the match and would think of dominance on the babyface star.

Maxxine has wrestled only five matches in WWE, with only one singles match. Back in July 2023, she defeated Valhalla in her singles debut match and went on to represent Alpha Academy in several tag team matches. Both stars will walk in with their undefeated streak, but only one will walk out withholding it.
