The night one of NXT Halloween Havoc saw major titles change hands. While Lyra Valkyria stunned the WWE Universe by dethroning Becky Lynch, two more superstars were crowned the brand-new NXT Tag Team Champions. The team in question is none other than Duke Hudson and Andre Chase of Chase University. Recently, Rhea Ripley reacted to fellow Australian, Duke Hudson winning his first gold in WWE.

Shortly after the high-octane tag-team action, Rhea Ripley took to her X and reacted to fellow Australian wrestler, Duke Hudson, winning his first championship in WWE. The Eradicator seemed stunned to see her friend win a championship and jokingly wrote that she never thought this day would come. Moreover, she congratulated the 33-year-old star.

Retweeting WWE’s post announcing Chase University as the new Tag Team Champions, Ripley wrote the following on X:

Rhea Ripley and Duke Hudson are good friends in real life. The common factor between the two friends is that both of them originally hail from Adelaide, Australia.

Interestingly, it was Andre Chase who secured the pin to bring the tag team titles home. Toward the end of the match, Jacy Jayne lured the former to use a weapon and win the match. However, he refused to take the weapon and went for a victory roll pin. With this massive win, Chase U put an end to the 87-day title reign of The Family.

Vince Russo claims WWE is oversaturating Rhea Ripley’s popularity

While Rhea Ripley’s championship reign has always been a subject of debate among wrestling fans, one cannot simply deny the ever-rising popularity and star power of The Nightmare. Over the past few weeks, the 27-year-old has been presented as the uncrowned leader of The Judgment Day. She is the one calling the shots and cutting big deals for the heel stable.

In the recent edition of Sportskeeda’s Legion of Raw, former WWE writer Vince Russo claimed that WWE is overexposing the Women’s World Champion. Speaking about Ripley’s overexposure, Russo said:

I don't know bro, but like I said man, they are overexposing her right now. I mean she was all over this show, that is not good bro, because if she's all over this show, it's just a matter of time before she means nothing.

Rhea Ripley presumably got the maximum screen time of all the WWE superstars this week on Raw. The champion had backstage segment(s) with Dominik Mysterio, The Miz and Seth Rollins. Furthermore, she was present in the opening segment of Raw and the women’s title match contract signing. She also made her presence felt during the bout between Drew McIntyre and Sami Zayn.
