Sometimes even the backstage interviewer has to be on the game and improvise as the situation demands. Rhea Ripley‘s alleged ex-girlfriend, Cathy Kelley, is one of those people who do their work with full dedication. Recently, Grayson Waller and Austin Theory accused her of favoritism. Now, she countered back by accusing them of the blunder on social media.

In the latest episode of SmackDown, Cathy Kelley was interviewing the notorious pair of Grayson Waller and Austin Theory after the former’s loss against LA Knight. However, the duo soon got irritated by Cathy’s question and called her biased for speaking in favor of Kevin Owens. In an interesting turn of events, when WWE’s official channel posted this video, there was one small mistake, which didn’t sit well with the WWE interviewer.

When WWE posted the video of the interview, the social media manager made a blunder, by not spelling her name right. It spelled ‘Cathey’ instead of ‘Cathy’. As a result, she took offense to this and instead blamed Grayson Waller for this blunder, saying he was behind it to take revenge on her.

Cathy Kelley and Grayson Waller have always been in funny backstage rivalry, with both dropping mean but funny comments on each other’s social media posts. In real life, they are great friends, but on screen, they have developed quite a rivalry. It will be interesting to see where this angle goes.

Kevin Owens was a guest commentator on the show last week. However, Nick Aldis told him that he would have to face suspension if he laid hands on anyone. Grayson Waller tried to take advantage of this situation and poured water into Owens’ head. This hilarious situation led to the latter losing his control and attacking both Waller and Theory. As a result, the company suspended Kevin Owens from the arena.

Cathy Kelley didn’t miss any chance to troll Grayson Waller. She took to X and mocked Waller by saying, “The first time Grayson Waller’s gotten anybody wet.” Fans were so shocked to see this tweet and even enjoyed this growing online rivalry between the two. The 33-year-old has yet to respond to this, but fans are eagerly waiting to see where this rivalry goes.
