Ric Flair was unhappy about the match between the Usos and Kevin Owens-Sami Zayn as the main event on night 1 of WrestleMania.

Ric Flair is regarded as one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. All the wrestlers have a tremendous amount of respect for what he has done in the wrestling industry. However, sometimes his words and opinions are not taken well by the fans.

The Nature Boy recently made an appearance on The Wrestling Classic podcast, where he expressed his true feelings about his daughter Charlotte Flair‘s favorite match. Flair chose the match with Rhea Ripley as his favorite and argued that the match should’ve been a main event at WrestleMania 39.

He admitted that he was really angry when the tag team match between the Usos and Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn was the main event on night one. Although Flair said he loves both Kevin and Sami, he also criticized his graph after the Bloodline storyline. Ric said that after all that momentum, Sami looks kind of lost.

She and Rhea Ripley should have main evented last year. Because now that the Bloodline thing is done... I love Sami and Kevin but, what is Sami Zayn even doing right now? putting that tag match on really p*ssed me off.

The Queen, unfortunately, suffered a serious ACL injury and will be out for 9 months. Rhea will defend her title against Ivy Nile at the Day 1 edition of Raw next week. It is only a matter of time before these two top stars meet in the ring again.

Ric Flair wants Randy Orton to break his record and become the 17-time world champion

Ric Flair has been a father figure to Randy Orton and has been guiding him since the start of his career. They have a great history together in the ring and share a pretty close relationship off-screen too.

On The Wrestling Classic podcast, Flair was asked if he wanted Randy to break his record of 16 world titles, and Ric immediately said yes. The interviewer even mentioned John Cena in the conversation, as he and Ric are tied with the same number of titles. However, The 74-year-old legend chose Randy to break the record. 

For sure... if it's not my daughter, it's Randy. I am a big fan of Randy Orton.

Although the Nature Boy revealed his health is good and has been cleared to wrestle, he is not going to wrestle again. He is currently signed with AEW and made an appearance on AEW Full Gear in the corner of his dear friend Sting as he wrestled in his last match.
