Ric Flair is one of the greatest wrestlers ever to set foot in the squared circle. The 16-time World Champion most recently fought in his retirement match in July, where he teamed up with his son-in-law Andrade and fought against Jeff Jarret and Jay Lethal in a tag team match.

The Nature Boy and Andrade won the match, and the match had some brutal scenes with The Nature Boy making himself bleed as he had committed himself to do so. Due to the WWE Hall of Famer’s terrible physical state, viewers regarded the match as an unpleasant occasion.

Ric Flair has now been retired thrice in his illustrious career as a wrestler, and the WWE Hall of Famer doesn’t want to stop, it seems. In a recent chat with TMZ, Ric Flair was asked about his return to wrestling, to which he said that he hasn’t given up on the possibility of wrestling again.

“I don’t know, I’ve already promised [I was done] once. Right now, I’m not doing anything. But, never say never.”

Ric Flair first retired in 2008, when he was a part of the WWE, and his final match came up against Shawn Michaels in 2008 at WrestleMania 24. The match was highly praised by fans and critics, and it was voted as “Match of the Year” by Pro Wrestling Illustrated. Flair then left WWE and joined TNA in 2010, and wrestled for the promotion until his second retirement in 2012.

The Nature Boy joined WWE in 2012, but he didn’t engage in any professional wrestling there until he left in 2021. While managing his daughter Charlotte Flair during the early years of her career, he often accompanied her to matches. Flair was not a regular in the WWE during these years. He also participated in a few storylines, the most well-known of which being his involvement in the Triple H and Batista rivalry in 2019.

On the To Be The Man Podcast, Ric Flair recently said he thought Charlotte Flair should face Bianca Belair at WrestleMania. He added that if the setup is done well, it will be as big as The Rock and Steve Austin. Flair, on the other hand, has no clue whether the fight between Belair and Flair will take place.

He claimed that Flair and Belair are two of the greatest athletes he has ever seen in his career. Although there are a few other excellent workers, Belair and Flair stand out for their pure athleticism. Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair, who are both actual division 1 athletes with credentials, are, in Ric Flair’s opinion, the two top athletes in the company.
