As pretty much every WWE fan knows, Ricochet is a huge pop culture geek. He is an avid fan of both anime and Marvel comics. And in a recent interview, The One and Only made a really controversial statement about the DC hero, Batman.

On Out of Character with Ryan Satin, the WWE superstar discussed his partnership with Braun Strowman. He also dropped a pretty controversial opinion on the podcast. Whenever it comes to Marvel vs. DC, fans of both comic book brands rally behind their favorite heroes and unleash a war of words on each other. At least, that’s how it’s been on social media for the past few years. Whenever someone drops a controversial opinion about their favorite heroes of the respective brand, the fans get super defensive and unleash a fury of insults on the person.

Apparently, Ricochet isn’t a big fan of the DC hero, Batman. He thinks that Batman is pretty overrated and that his fans give him too much credit. Ricochet named a few Marvel heroes that he thinks can definitely “smoke” Batman. He named Wolverine and Iron Man as the heroes who could definitely beat him. However, Ryan Satin objected to these claims, laughing hysterically in between. When Ricochet asks him how Batman will even beat Iron Man, Ryan simply answered, “Cause he’s Batman dude! He simply does not lose to people like that”.

Ryan Satin further tried to reason that Batman has the same kind of tech as Iron Man, so there’s no chance that The Caped Crusader could lose. However, Ricochet counters with the argument that Tony Stark made all of his tech alone, while Batman had Morgan Freeman make his stuff for him. This was a reference to Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight, where Morgan Freeman played the role of Lucius Fox, a character who helps Bruce Wayne, aka Batman, with his tech.

Since there has been no official faceoff between Iron Man and Batman in the history of Marvel and DC, there is no official confirmation of who’s beating who. It might go either way for any character. One thing’s for sure: The person who emerges victorious in a fight in comics is whoever the writer wants to win. No matter their feats, if the writer wants Batman to win, then Batman will win. The same might go for Iron Man as well.

Ever since they teamed up, Ricochet and Braun Strowman have become fan favorites in WWE. They are also pretty dominant as a tag team, with Braun Strowman being the heavy hitter and Ricochet being the high-flyer. Speaking with Ryan Satin, Ricochet revealed that he and Braun Strowman have no weaknesses as a team.

“I don’t want to say we have weaknesses because listen, I don’t have any weaknesses. I don’t want to say Braun has any weaknesses,” Ricochet said. “What I lack – the power, the dominance, all those attributes that Braun brings to the table that obviously I just naturally don’t have – he makes up for.”

Braun Strowman is out of action lately due to a concussion that he suffered on last week’s SmackDown. It’s still unclear as to when he will be making his return. Fans wish Strowman the best and hope to see him in good health soon.
