This week, WWE delivered the first Raw of this ‘new’ era. It had some hard-hitting moments with the implications for what’s to come. The main event was a fatal four-way match to determine the number-one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. One of the top stars of the brand, Ricochet, was also involved in the match, which saw him deliver a scary, high-risk maneuver. 

The One and Only tried to take down Bronson Reed in the match. He went on to the top rope to deliver a 450-splash on the announce table to the Colossal. However, before going for the move, he uttered the words ‘I’m sorry’ to his fiancee, Samantha Irvin, who was sitting right by ringside.

It was a risky move that was executed perfectly by the former Intercontinental Champion on the announce table. However, it took a toll on Ricochet, possibly hampering his ribs. Therefore, it wasn’t surprising for him to apologize to Irvin for putting his body on the line. All in all, it ended up being a pretty wholesome moment.

The main event of Raw this week was star-studded. Drew McIntyre and Jey Uso were also part of the match. During the closing moments of the show, The Scottish Warrior was distracted by CM Punk, which led to ‘Main Event’ Jey picking up the win. However, it can be said that Ricochet stole the spotlight with his amazing move.

Ricochet reacts to being snubbed by WWE

Recently, WWE presented the Slammy Awards, where they had a category of OMG! Moment of the Year. There were some pretty solid nominations. Unsurprisingly, CM Punk’s return to WWE took home the award. Taking this to heart, Ricochet reacted to being snubbed out of this category.

On X, the former Intercontinental Champion stated that his moment with Logan Paul at the Royal Rumble 2023 should have also been nominated for the award. He justified the same by saying that it was a spectacular moment. However, he believes that the WWE Universe has become accustomed to seeing him deliver astounding performances every time he is in the ring.

Pretty crazy me and Logan Paul didn't even make the list for contender for OMG moment of the year. But I understand that it's become normal for Ricochet to give you OMG moments.
