Ricochet Drops a Strong Video Message for His Opponent Before His Match at the SmackDown World Cup

The first round of the WWE SmackDown Cup will finally conclude as Ricochet battles Mustafa Ali this week on SmackDown. The winner of the match will be in the run for a shot at the Intercontinental Championship. The ultimate winner will challenge the current champion Gunther, possibly at Survivor Series WarGames, later this month.
The two superstars and the WWE Universe seem excited about the upcoming match. Ricochet has already gathered the heat of the audience for the same as he dropped a strong video for his opponent on his official Instagram handle. Ali was being welcomed with such great enthusiasm by his rival.
King Ricochet said that just because Ali got the pin last week doesn’t prove anything. He was confident Mustafa can’t beat him for the SmackDown World Cup. He also openly challenged Ali saying, “You have to prove to the entire world how you are better than Ricochet”. Mustafa had already claimed that he would die to beat his opponent.
The former Dragon Gate star proudly spoke on how he has traveled the entire globe to reach where he is today. He believes that he has been the best in every place that he has been. Thinking of the match that is about to take place at Hartford, he made a direct shot at Mustafa Ali saying that he is going to be the best in the ring too.
Ricochet seems confident to stay for a long time
Ricochet is very confident about his journey in the company. He believes that everyone knows who he was while Mustafa would be remembered by all as a fading memory. At last week’s SmackDown, the former ‘Prime Puma’ was seen giving his interview to Kayla Braxton.
During the interview, he said that the match was just about facing some of the best players in the world. He had more plans than merely defeating Mustafa. He wanted to get back what he felt was his. He also added that Ali was a worthy contender whose achievements are not unrecognized by the WWE Universe.

The two matches have already taken place in the first round of the tournament. Braun Strowman and Santos Escobar are in the next round of the tournament. The next episode of SmackDown will present before the WWE Universe the top 4 of the World Cup who will try to dominate the ring and challenge Gunther for the IC Championship.
