Road Dogg, a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, recently discussed the pleasures of working with Naomi when he was one of the primary writers on SmackDown. Road Dogg and the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion collaborated closely as SmackDown’s writers.
The 34-year-old Diva from Orlando would eventually rise to the top of the women’s division. The Dogg talked about the joy of working with Naomi in a recent podcast interview.
He said, “Naomi is the greatest thing in the world to work with and she would do anything you ask her. She always had ideas and suggestions. When she was on SmackDown, she was the SmackDown Women’s Champion when I was writing the show, that’s for dang sure. A joy to work with and an entertaining young lady.”
The WWE Hall of Famer also talked about Vince McMahon and his ability to “outwork” Dogg. Road Dogg claimed that Vince had outworked him in the past. He is simply a workaholic, and if you try to keep up, you will get left behind. This is what he said:
“It was not that I couldn’t work with Vince. He outworked me. He worked me until I had to tap out, and that’s just who and how he works. It’s not mean or malice or anything, he’s just a workaholic, and if you keep up, then you fall by the wayside.”
When will Naomi return?
As things went, Naomi, along with her partner Sasha Banks walked out of their event due to creative differences with RAW. As it stands, the WWE universe has not seen her on WWE television since that incident. According to reports, both women have subsequently been suspended, although many think that Naomi’s chance of returning is higher than that of Sasha Banks’.
