Road Dogg was an extremely instrumental name back in the day and he’s often regarded as a tag-team specialist. He found revolutionary success being an undisputed part of The New Age Outlaws. Roady and his partner Billy Gunn gained notoriety courtesy of their engaging character work and involvement in various high profile feuds.

They held the WWF World Tag Team Championship on five unique occasions of their career in addition to a single reign with WWE tag-team titles afterwards. At present, Road Dogg is signed to WWE and acts as the Senior Vice President for Live events. He recently talked about an incident regarding his long-term admiration, Shawn Michaels and his bitter rival, Bret Hart.

On this week’s edition of Oh…you didn’t know podcast, Road Dogg unveiled a very interesting real-life confrontation with Bret Hart. As they boarded the same flight once, Hart collected his will to ask Dogg about one of his older statements which stated that Michaels is better than Hart, at least Roady said so.

So recollecting about that particular wording from Dogg, the Canadian great and one of main entities behind the Montreal Screwjob, Bret Hart, decided to have Roady’s opinion live in-person. However, the latter didn’t held himself back while repeating the same thing once again as he was an ardent lover of the Heartbreak Kid’s southern wrestling style.

“Before I turned to sit down, he said, ‘Hey, man, I heard you said Shawn Michaels was better than me. And I said, wait, what? ‘Well, I do think Shawn Michaels is better than you.I said, I’m sorry I feel that way, but I love southern-style wrestling. Like, Shawn was trained in the south, and Bret was trained in the dungeon, and their two totally different wrestlers.”

We recently bowed down to one of the most rebellious and iconic factions in WWE history recently and that’s D-Generation X. They reunited once again on October 10th edition of Raw and rejoiced upon the fact that they’re already 25 years into this business from the date they were formed.

We had some usual DX taglines and phrases throughout that segment. Also, they arrived into the arena riding upon their iconic jeep and was the exact same they used for the invasion of WCW in 1999. That for real brought back real good memories and made everyone realise how sudden the time flies by.

One of the group’s vital links was missing and yes we’re obviously talking about Billy Gunn. Being currently signed with All Elite Wrestling, the demand for him to appear in WWE called for an AEW mention on their programming. Listening to which, WWE had to pull their hands out and Gunn missed out an important night of his career.
