“I don’t think it’s beneficial for anybody” – WWE Hall of Famer expresses his thoughts about Sasha Banks and Naomi’s walkout
Road Dogg talks about Sasha Banks and Naomi
WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg recently gave his opinion on Sasha Banks and Naomi walking out on RAW last month. The current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions left the arena and their titles behind during the May 16 episode of RAW due to reported creative issues. The two have already lost their championship and are currently suspended from the promotion.
Road Dogg admitted on the “Oh You Didn’t Know” show that he initially believed Banks and Naomi’s walkout was a work because of all the fuss WWE has made about them.
He said, “I thought it was a work and the reason I thought it was a work was because they were talking about it so much on TV. Well, then I find out it’s not a work and they’re suspending them and they’re talking horrible about them on TV and I just thought that’s why it was a work because they were talking about them on TV like that.”
He continued, “I don’t think it’s beneficial for anybody. (They could have said), ‘There were business differences and we are sorry to announce we have to take the titles from them and we’ll be holding a tournament.’ To me, that’s how you leave it and you don’t air dirty laundry because some of that dirty got on there because of you.”
Is this the end of Sasha Banks’ WWE career?
The 30-year-star old’s power has fluctuated inside the organization recently. Road Dogg believes Banks might have had higher expectations for the business, though. The seasoned professional pointed out that Sasha might struggle to earn the same money outside of WWE.
Since their exit, Sasha Banks and Naomi have not spoken to wrestling fans. Several outlets have been reporting that the Boss is no longer with WWE, a story that has dominated wrestling news headlines for the past week or more. Despite these claims, neither Sasha nor WWE have made any official statements regarding this.
While there have been no official comments coming in from either party, the WWE universe would like Sasha Banks to rejoin the promotion as soon as possible.
