Brock lesnar has been a vital part of WWE, Lesnar is a well-known character in WWE, and he is considered one of the finest and greatest wrestlers of all time. Brock Lesnar is respected and acclaimed for his in-ring abilities and generosity by the other greats in the business, with Drew McIntyre calling him “Genius”, CM Punk calling “Sweetheart” and John Cena calling him as “The Greatest of all time”
Brock made his WWE debut in 2002 and instantly impressed the viewers through his power, agility and athleticism. Since his debut in WWE, Brock Lesnar has won the WWE Championship 7 times and has set the record for being the youngest champion to win the title at age 25. From winning the “King of the Ring tournament” to winning the Royal Rumble twice, he has achieved it all. Lesnar is a complete crowd stealer and is termed as “Most Dominant Wrestler” of all time by the WWE Universe.
Brock Lesnar and The Rock faced each other in the past
Former WWE Legend Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Brock lesnar had crossed paths with each other in the past in WWE. Interestingly, Brock lesnar had defeated “The Rock” at SummerSlam 2002 to win the WWE Championship, which was Brock’s first reign as champion and made him the youngest to hold the title.
Brock Lesnar wrestled in WWE until 2004 and then returned to the company in 2012. During his time from 2008-2011, Lesnar competed in the UFC and made a big name in the industry. Lesnar quickly became the UFC Heavyweight Champion and also headlined some major events of UFC, such as UFC 91, UFC 116, UFC 100 and UFC 121. Brock Lesnar is considered as a Spectacle by many UFC Fans and is regarded as the best “Freak Athlete” they have ever seen. Lesnar also fought in UFC from 2016-2018, which was his second break from WWE.
The Rock is very well known for his love and following of UFC. Back in 2014 Johnson had commented on UFC Fight Pass’ collection of Lesnar contests, he had said that he doesn’t feel that anyone can reach the level that Brock lesnar had reached in a short span of time. The Rock had also added that what lesnar has achieved is historic and epic.
“I don’t know if anybody will ever accomplish what he’s accomplished in the heavyweight division in that short amount of time,” Johnson said. “Had it not been for the unfortunate issue he had to deal with his stomach, who knows what could have happened if he continued to train, and continued to hone in on his skills. What he did was epic and historic.”
Brock Lesnar is currently signed to WWE and recently lost his WWE Championship to Roman Reigns at wrestlemania 38. He received an opportunity to fight for the championship again, the following night on RAW, but lost again to Reigns. Since then he hasn’t made an appearance on WWE and the WWE Universe is unaware of his future.
