The latest episode of SmackDown kicked off with a war of words between LA Knight and the Wiseman for the Tribal Chief, Paul Heyman. Knight promised he would defeat Roman Reigns as their match was made official for Crown Jewel. However, this was not the only segment featuring LA Knight during the night. He rushed out to help Jey Uso in a post-show brawl with his brother, Jimmy Uso.

In a viral video, LA Knight walked out to help Jey. As soon as Knight’s music hit, the crowd popped huge. With the match between Knight and Reigns now official, the Bloodline has identified Knight as their prime target. Set to take place in Saudi Arabia at Crown Jewel, WWE has promoted the event as a significant Pay-Per-View extravaganza for WWE.

With only four matches announced, the show promises to be one of the most star-studded of the year. Promotions for the event include Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, John Cena, Seth Rollins, LA Knight, and other stars. Roman Reigns vs. LA Knight will likely headline the show as the main event.

It can also be expected that Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa will be involved in the match in some capacity. Speculations suggest that Solo Sikoa will face John Cena at the Saudi show. However, WWE has not confirmed it.

Contract signing between Roman Reigns and LA Knight announced for next week’s SmackDown

On the latest episode of SmackDown, it was also announced that the Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, would be on next week’s show. He will also face LA Knight in the ring for a contract signing for their match at Crown Jewel. In this episode, Knight showed his intentions of beating Roman Reigns for the title of Paul Heyman.

He also shot Reigns, saying he had never faced an opponent like Knight before. Therefore, fans have been anticipating a showdown for ages when two of the top stars in WWE clash for the first time. Currently, Roman Reigns is untouchable in his position in WWE. However, according to fans, LA Knight is the top contender to dethrone Reigns.

LA Knight is on a roll currently, as he is coming off two big victories. At Fastlane, he teamed up with John Cena to defeat Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa and win the match for their team. In a recent episode of SmackDown, Knight pinned Solo Sikoa clean in the main event of the night. Only Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso have managed to defeat Solo; therefore, it is a big accomplishment for Knight.
