The latest episode of SmackDown kicked off with the contract signing for the Undisputed Universal Title match at Royal Rumble. While the three contenders came out and penned their signatures, Roman Reigns decided to no-show and instead send his Wiseman, Paul Heyman. The Tribal Chief had grown frustrated with SmackDown GM, Nick Aldis for undermining him on the Blue brand. As such, a clip showing Roman during his entrance music playing backstage has gone viral online.

In a TikTok posted on his account, Reigns is shown trash-talking Aldis with his entrance theme playing in the background. The Head of the Table doesn’t mince his words, expressing his hatred for the official. Moreover, he sends a message to Nick, promising to “figure him out” and “fix” him. However, Heyman’s coming out didn’t help his cause, as the General Manager threatened to strip Roman of his title if he didn’t sign his contract.

Later, the champion addressed the ongoings with Bloodline members Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso. He called out the latter for taking the situation lightly. Despite that, The Enforcer promised he would fix it himself in his main event match against Randy Orton. However, Solo fell short in a quick loss against The Viper.

Roman Reigns would show up in the post-match proceedings and finally sign the contract. Most notably, The Tribal Chief taunted Aldis, who stood at ringside, by throwing away the contract. However, his overconfidence got the better of him as he received a devastating RKO from The Apex Predator. For the first time, Reigns is seemingly losing control over the show, and fans are intrigued by how his title defense at the PLE will play out.

Is Roman Reigns’ title reign in jeopardy?

The ending of SmackDown wasn’t the one Roman Reigns hoped for. The Tribal Chief arrived in the arena at the start, planning to fix things on the Blue brand. However, the situation went from bad to worse for him as he lay in the ring after receiving a devastating RKO from Randy Orton. For the first time since WrestleMania 39, the odds might be stacked in his favor.

The fatal four-way Undisputed Title match at Royal Rumble puts him at a numerical disadvantage, even with The Bloodline in his corner. Moreover, Nick Aldis has seemingly gotten into the mind of Roman, as the GM has ensured The Tribal Chief doesn’t get the final call on his show. In a backstage segment, he had a brief but intense face-off with Solo Sikoa.

Fans believe that The Enforcer might be close to no longer being the right-hand man for Reigns. Without a doubt, it has made the Road to WrestleMania more interesting. The likes of The Rock and Cody Rhodes are also lying in wait, which will definitely cause The Head of the Table more trouble.
