Roman Reigns once again reigned supreme after defeating Jey Uso at SummerSlam. The main event bout was for his Undisputed Universal Championship. It was arguably one of the most intense matches of his career. While he was expected to do a press conference post-SummerSlam, it was announced at the last moment that Paul Heyman would be doing it instead. This left the fans waiting to hear from The Tribal Chief after a major victory.

The Tribal Chief continued his historic reign with the help of a betrayal from Jimmy Uso. Moreover, the bout was a Tribal Combat match, which meant not only the title on the line but the title of “Tribal Chief” as well. Therefore, the stakes were higher than ever for the Bloodline leader.

Roman Reigns didn’t appear in the press conference post-show. Instead, it was his wise man, Paul Heyman, representing him. Therefore, it took a while for him to publicly speak after his victory. The 38-year-old used his Twitter account to boast about his win. “Umbrella Service. And Still. The Only Tribal Chief.”, tweeted Reigns. You can check out his tweet here:

The Bloodline story continued to deliver gut-wrenching twists in its plot at SummerSlam. Obviously, the WWE Universe is well aware of Jimmy Uso’s betrayal of Jey Uso. But there was another brotherly bond that was close to cracking during the main event.

After Solo Sikoa interfered in the match, Jey was outnumbered. However, a miscommunication between Roman Reigns and the Enforcer led to the latter being speared by the Tribal Chief. Later, both men had an intense face-off as Sikoa looked unhappy about the move.

During the post-match celebration, Solo Sikoa didn’t accompany Reigns to the back as well. Instead, the cameras caught him disappointed as he sat outside the ring. It will be interesting to see what his place in this entire story will be going forward.
