The main event of Money in the Bank witnessed the most-awaited “The Bloodline Civil War” match. After getting engaged in a long-lasting, vicious bout, Roman Reigns finally crumbled. In a shocking turn of events, Jey Uso pinned The Tribal Chief after 1294 days. He has created a history-making moment by breaking the streak that has been continuing for 3.5 years.

The Bloodline Civil War began with Jimmy Uso and his younger brother Solo Sikoa. The Enforcer overpowered Jimmy, but the latter soon tagged in Jey to attack Solo Sikoa together. When Roman Reigns asked for a tag, Sikoa looked into his eyes and finally gave him one. The Enforcer hinted at the manipulation by Reigns as his willingness to battle was put down by him.

Jey Uso looked forward to taking on Roman, as he was getting cheered by the crowd. The Tribal Chief took a timeout from the match upon Jey’s tag-in but got motivated by Paul Heyman to go in and fight again. Reigns dominated his cousin and kept on trash talking throughout the match. As the crowd was hostile against Roman, he stated that the audience was “a bunch of idiots.”

The closing moments of this match saw Jey Uso and Jimmy double-spear Roman Reigns. A moment came when all four stars stood in the ring and took out each other. After several beatings by Roman, Jey received a Samoan Spike and a spear simultaneously. Roman even stacked Jimmy upon Jey and went for the pinfall, but The Usos kicked out.

The sad look on Roman Reigns‘ face was a result of his inability to conquer The Usos. During the final moments of the match, The Usos applied a double superkick to the Tribal Chief, followed by a splash by Jey. The WWE Universe witnessed a shocker when Jey Uso pinned Roman Reigns for the first time in three and a half years. It was truly a monumental moment as Reigns was pinned after 1294 days.
