Roman Reigns has had quite a track record of toying with the emotions of his opponent’s kith and kin. One could vividly remember what it was like last year at the Elimination Chamber. Amidst a hostile ambience in Toronto, Reigns had the audacity to torment Sami Zayn at ringside, just inches away from his wife. And he did something similar after emerging victorious at the Royal Rumble last Saturday.

The Tribal Chief defied the odds to retain his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in a fatal 4-way match against Randy Orton, AJ Styles, and LA Knight. Post-match, Roman decided to turn his attention to where The Viper’s wife, Kim Orton, was sitting. Reigns, flanked by Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa, seemingly asked Kim to acknowledge him by pointing a finger at her. The exchange was caught on a fan’s camera.

Despite some shenanigans from Solo Sikoa towards the end of that four-way showdown, it was a mess. Every superstar had his fair share of shtick. One spot that shook the entire Tropicana Field was Randy Orton’s mid-air RKO on Roman Reigns. Also, LA Knight, in general, potentially had a breakout performance. The Megastar took the bull by the horns and seemed as if he had a point to prove that night.

AJ Styles, who was in a league of his own, also did his thing but was the one who ate the pinfall. After nearly 20 minutes of ups and downs, The Head of the Table managed to keep his historic title reign intact. After his match, a video made the rounds on the internet. Roman Reigns was seen bestowing a Make-A-Wish grant on a specially abled kid as they were strolling backstage.

Roman Reigns could go face-to-face with Cody Rhodes on SmackDown

This week’s SmackDown is about to leave some bells ringing. A week after stacking his opponents on the canvas, Roman Reigns will be in the house. But that wasn’t enough.

Cody Rhodes jumped on the bandwagon to announce that he’ll also be on SmackDown this Friday under the same roof as The Tribal Chief. After winning the Royal Rumble for the second consecutive year, The American Nightmare conspicuously chose Roman Reigns.

However, this week on Raw, Seth Rollins listed reasons why Rhodes should pick him as his WrestleMania opponent instead of Roman Reigns. Cody said he’ll contemplate his decision, and the fans will most likely get their answers in less than 48 hours.
