Every star has that one historic moment where it all started for him. Royal Rumble 2015 was the place for Roman Reigns. The infamous event took place in Philadelphia, where the now-Tribal Chief was heavily booed even after the endorsement by The Rock. Now, after 9 years, the ‘Needle Mover’ looked back at the moment and reflected on the feeling.
Speaking on his upcoming A&E biography, reported by CBS Sports, the ‘Head of the Table’ expressed himself on that infamous Royal Rumble win. He stated that, for him, it was a nightmare. Reigns referred to that event as the worst and even called it a ruined moment. ‘The Tribal Chief’ disclosed that he tries to forget the event in Philadelphia even to this day.
At the Royal Rumble 2015, Roman Reigns picked up one of the biggest wins of his career. He was pushed to the main event scene thereafter. Even The Rock came down to help his cousin, to even the odds. However, the crowd showed no remorse for that as they went on to boo the Needle Mover and even the People’s Champion out of the building.
That's how the Rumble in Philly felt. I try to forget Philly. I try to forget the Royal Rumble. There's only one positive, and that's the fact that it's going to be able to tie all the way back around at WrestleMania 40.Roman Reigns on getting booed at Royal Rumble 2015
On April 6th and 7th, WrestleMania goes to Philadelphia. It’s the same infamous city. This time, the Tribal Chief will be main eventing both nights of the Grandest Stage of Them All. Roman Reigns shared his views on Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso
One of the biggest matches heading to WrestleMania is between Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso. Fans have been long waiting for this showdown. With all the hype surrounding the clash, Roman Reigns shared his thoughts on this mega-match. The Tribal Chief is someone who has seen the relationship between Jey and Jimmy closely. Therefore, he decided to choose Jimmy as the one he was rooting for.
During a conversation on the Pat McAfee Show, Reigns revealed that he is supporting the big brother Jimmy Uso in this match. He revealed that Uso is the only family he has right now. Besides, Jey made his choice of stepping away from the Bloodline. Therefore, there is no way the Needle Mover can choose the Main Event Jey at WrestleMania.
“I’m rooting for big Jim, he’s my only family. Jey made his choice. How do you walk away from the dream? How d’you walk away from the promised land? You know what, it’s disrespectful.Roman Reigns roots for Jimmy Uso’s win at WrestleMania 40
It all started after the events of SummerSlam 2023, where Jimmy turned his back on Jey. Ever since then, the brothers have been at loggerheads. With WrestleMania being the place where the two stars face each other for the first time, fans have their eyes on this highly emotional and personal battle.
