Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre
Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns have tore each other down a lot of times in their career and have been huge rivals of each other. The two men had their rivalry start when Shane McMahon had some altercations with the Big Dog and the Scottish Psychopath had himself aligned with the Best in the World. But the two didn’t have a very exciting rivalry then. Roman Reigns has been the Universal Champion for almost two years now and has emerged as the to superstar of the company.
While McIntyre is currently on the Friday Night SmackDown roster and has recently finished a feud with Sami Zayn. Roman Reigns had huge praise for the former WWE champion a few months ago when he called McIntyre one of the best in the roster. Here’s what he said:
“Ain’t nobody. I can say my favorite number two, Drew [McIntyre]. There are a bunch of number twos, threes, whatever you want to call them. We can rank them, but they are under me. How far under? Who knows, who cares. How strong of a number two do you want to be?”
“At this point, my favorite is Drew McIntyre. In a perfect world, if there is an opportunity to pass the torch to him, he’s the one guy that has captivated my attention in that manner, but he ain’t there. It’s only because I’m still here and so solid within my stronghold. The flag is fully planted in and I can’t even think about [who is next]. John [Cena] needed someone to come in so he could move on and try new things. I will eventually need that, but there is nobody at this point.”

Though not in a one-on-one match, but Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre are set to face each other in a six man tag team match when Reigns will team up with SmackDown Tag Team Champions, the Usos and face McIntyre and the Raw Tag Team Champions, RK-Bro. The two men are reported to have a long feud with each other soon and that could be very exciting for the WWE Universe.
