The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns is a top name in sports entertainment. He is one of the most decorated superstars in pro wrestling. The 38-year-old has been defending his championship in the main event of WrestleMania for three consecutive years. Recently, he delivered a bold message for the winner of next year’s Royal Rumble match.
WWE recently announced the ticket sales for next year’s Royal Rumble event in Tropicana Field. Roman Reigns replied to the same post with a threatening message. He said, “Win the Rumble and get a round trip to the Island of Relevance.” Th Undisputed Champion delivered a bold message as he flexed his supremacy at The Grandest Stage of Them All.
Roman Reigns has been dominating The Showcase of the Immortals for years. He has been a part of 11 WrestleMania so far and headlines seven of them. The Head of the Table looks to make a statement once again at The Show of Shows. He will likely be in the main event of Night 2 of WrestleMania 40 next year.
As of now, Roman Reigns is rumored to face Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania next year. He will also feature in WWE’s upcoming premium live event Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. Reigns is speculated to face LA Knight in Saudi Arabia. It will be interesting to see how the road to WrestleMania shapes up for the Tribal Chief.
Update on Roman Reigns’ creative booking following WWE’s merger
Roman Reigns is the most talked-about wrestler in the world. After the merger of the UFC and WWE to form TKO, fans have been wondering about the creative control of Roman Reigns. As per a new report, the creative process for the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion will remain the same even after the merger.
As per Fightful Select, there have been no major changes in Roman Reigns’ creative and storylines since Vince McMahon’s exit from the creative process of the company. It stated that things would proceed the same way without any intervention now that Reigns is back on WWE programming.
The new report suggests that “Reigns has been out since shortly after Summerslam before returning for the build to Crown Jewel. While he was out, things changed behind the scenes, and Vince McMahon is no longer contributing creatively. However, we’re told that Roman Reigns’ creative process is largely the same.”
Furthermore, the report suggests that Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns will be in their creative bookings in the future as well. There are a lot of changes after the merger within the company. It is going to be interesting to see the aftermath of the deal in the upcoming months in WWE.
