Breaking: WWE Confirms “Roman Reigns” will not be a part of Money in the Bank
Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman backstage.
Roman reigns became the first WWE Superstar to clinch the WWE Universal and WWE Championship at the same time at WrestleMania 38. According to some reports, we might not see Roman reigns until SummerSlam of this year. In the month of May, WWE had declared that “The tribal chief” would no longer be a part of Hell in a Cell.
The WWE Universe may have to wait to see their beloved Roman reigns in action again. It was also reported in May that roman reigns had signed a new deal with the company, which consisted of a reduction in his workload and to appear on fewer live events.

Dave Meltzer confirms Roman reigns absence from Money in the Bank
It was alleged that Reigns was slated to face riddle at the Money in the bank as he had been clashing with Bloodline in recent times. The Money in the bank event was moved to MGM Grand Arena, which is much smaller than Allegiant Stadium, where the event was supposed to take place. Low ticket sales is said to be the reason for this move.
WWE, on Thursday unveiled the new posters for the money in the bank live event, which included Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes, Bianca Belair, Riddle, Miz and Rhea Ripley.
Roman was one of the stars along with Brock Lesnar to be omitted from the posters.
Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso revealed in his report, roman reigns absence from the money in the bank live event. This was further corroborated by Dave Meltzer.
“It’s unclear why he is no longer on the July 2nd pay-per-view from Las Vegas, but Barrasso noted that “plans changed once Money in the Bank was moved from Allegiant Stadium to the indoor MGM Grand Garden Arena.”
Roman Reigns was last seen in action in Mid-May at a live event in Iowa, where he locked horns with Drew McIntyre and defeated him. With reigns absence in smaller arenas, it’s been extrapolated that WWE, only wants “The Tribal Chief” to compete in Stadium Events.
The Money in the Bank Live event is scheduled to happen on July 2nd, with Bianca Belair Vs Rhea Ripley for the RAW Women’s Championship as the only match confirmed as of now.
