Ronda Rousey has been signed to WWE since 2017 on a regular basis, she was a part of the performance center and began training in it. Ronda Rousey’s in-ring debut at wrestleMania 34 by involving herself in a mixed match tag team match, where she teamed up with Kurt Angle against Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. Rousey and anglesuccesfully defeated the husband wife duo. Ronda’s in ring antics were praise by many,including Jim Cornette and Dave Meltzer, with the latter stating that she was on point inevery aspect, Cornette on the other hand calling it “the best debut ever”.
Since her debut in 2017, Rousey has been one time Raw Women’s Champion and this year’s women’s royal rumble winner, which further escalated to her challenging Charlotte Flair for wwe smackdown women’s championship at wrestlemania 38. rousey lost the bout but regained an opportunity to fight flair at WrestleMania Backlash, where Ronda defeated Flair to be the current Smackdown Women’s Champion.
Ronda Rousey assessed the Ending of WrestleMania 35
At WrestleMania 35, Ronda Rousey along with becky lynch and Charlotte Flair became the first women to main event the WrestleMania. The main event was a “Winner Takes All” Triple threat match, Wherin Becky Lynch defeated the then RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. Becky Lynch has responded with a crucifix, when Ronda Rousey applied the “Piper’s Pit” on her, Lynch then pinned Rousey to win the match, but the win was controversial as rousey’s one shoulder was up indicating that she had not given up. Despite this, Rousey lost her belt and suffered her first defeat in WWE.
During her recent interaction with Kurt Angle on his show “The Kurt Angle Show”, Ronda Rousey opened up on her loss at WrestleMania 35. She stated that she was attempting to straighten herself and lower her shoulder and that she had no idea that the referee had
begun the count by that point of time.
“I didn’t think my shoulder was down,” . “I was trying to flatten out to put my shoulder more down. So like that’s what was happening. I thought it was just the very top of my shoulder. So I was trying to shimmy down. So the actual backs of my shoulders were down and I didn’t know that he had already started counting. So or that my shoulder came up during the shimmy. So I was trying to help, but it ended up being awesome because now I have a gripe to revisit.
Ronda rousey has been a former judoka and a mixed martial artist, She is also known for her pursuits in Ultimate Fighting Championship(UFC) and got inducted in the UFC Hall of Fame in 2018. Rousey is slated to defend her SmackDown Women’s title against Natalya at the Money in the Bank live event.
