She captioned the post and wrote, “Sorry, I couldn’t hear you through my retirement.” The 36-year-old superstar seemingly hinted at her retirement using a quote from a Bernie Lumen character from the recently released film “Elemental.”
According to a report by Ringside News, the creative team scrapped all the future plans for The Rowdy One following SummerSlam. Later, there were rumors regarding the former UFC star intending to make a comeback in the UFC. As per the latest report, a member of WWE Creative suggested that no plans for Ronda Rousey as of now.
Taking into account the buzzing rumors and Ronda Rousey’s cryptic post, it seems that The Rowdy One desires a sabbatical, if not retirement, to spend time with her family. Despite not publicly announcing her in-ring retirement yet, the former UFC star’s current deal with the company will expire in the summer of 2024. However, she may not make any appearances on WWE programming.
