“Tennis people need to lighten up!” Ronda Rousey defends Tennis legend, Serena Williams, on Twitter saving her from a lot of criticism
Ronda Rousey and Serena Williams
Currently employed in the sports entertainment sector by WWE, Ronda Rousey holds the Smackdown Women’s Championship following a lacklustre victory over former champion Liv Morgan. Ronda competes in the UFC and even held a three-year winning streak.
Although Ronda Rousey hasn’t engaged in combat, she is a fantastic swimmer and sports star. She was really interested in other sports but was unable to participate in them because she made judo her primary sport. Tennis was one of her favourite sports, and she still follows it fervently whenever she has the chance.

Serena Williams was getting a lot of criticism until Ronda Rousey defended her
Serena Williams is well-known in the sports world. Although she has since resigned from tennis, she has long left her mark on the sport. She defeated one of the top tennis players in 2012 when she defeated Maria Sharapova in a thrilling match in the Olympic Final.
The victory for Serena was not the end, however, as she followed it up with a C Walk, which was more contentious than usual because it was a major move on her part and because she was having trouble getting through it, many began to criticize her and say it was a really stupid move. Later, after Ronda backed Serena, this criticism was put to rest.
Ronda admitted in a very stunning tweet that she not only follows Serena Williams but also watches tennis, and that what she did at that precise moment was just a C Walk and not at all her fault. She argued that the tennis community should refrain from becoming outraged by this little action taken by a legend.
After some time, Serena encouraged this support, and it was then apparent that both of the megastars of their sports had managed to discover a very good friend in each other in real life. Ronda’s tweet caused everyone to recognise this, and the moment of criticising Serena was put to an end.
