Ronda Rousey is definitely at the top of the women’s division with her love for the game. The current WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion talked to the audience on the ‘Ronda on the Road’ series on Youtube which had a great set of observations and perspectives.

One such remark that caught everybody’s eyes was that Ronda Rousey wanted a change in the name for the WWE Women’s Championship. Something like this coming from a champion is a thought worth pondering upon. She doesn’t want to say the word ‘women’ in the title any longer now.

I think they are kind of resistant to taking it out. So then I was like, ‘Can I just not have to say it?’ So then that’s kind of where it’s at,” said Ronda Rousey. There wasn’t any possible reason that was stated for thinking so. She probably thought in terms of advancement through necessary changes.

Her idea of discarding the word ‘women’ can also be thought of equalling the men’s and the women’s importance in the company. All the titles open for the men’s division come without the ‘men’ specified. Former superstar Maria Kanellis also wanted the Divas title to come back in sight.

Ronda Rousey walked out as the current SmackDown Women’s Champion at Extreme Rules. The event was significant since she went face to face against Liv Morgan for the title after a long wait of more than 2 months. The match was extreme and brought out a villainous side of Liv Morgan as she turned heel.

Liv Morgan had snatched the Championship from Rousey at Money In The Bank after a successful briefcase cash in. Later on, she was able to defend it in a very controversial manner. It was Rousey’s turn to strike back and she did the job brilliantly.

Ronda Rousey has the potential to stay at the top of the women’s division. She recently dropped a few names of her possible opponents and it contained the names of WWE Superstars Sasha Banks and Naomi. However, no concrete plans are revealed for the same.
