Before Superstars arrive on the main roster, they are well-trained in the NXT. Formerly it was known as FCW. Multiple Superstars from NXT have made it big on the main roster like the current World Champions Roman Reigns and Seth “Freakin” Rollins. Recently, an NXT Superstar, Roxanne Perez who already has an iconic career, took to X to stop fans from pin-pointing a picture of her taken in 2015.

The picture depicts Perez being a referee in a match. WWE Universe was surprised to see the 22-year-old sporting a referee vest in the ring. The young Superstar asked to stop reminding her of this old photo.

She also hilariously claimed to be versatile, being the prodigy she was in the initial days of her career.

The picture that is going viral was taken in 2015. It sheds light on the fact that the former Women’s Tag Team Champion was introduced into the world of wrestling at a very young age. Fortunately, at an early age, she realized her talents and decided to become a wrestler.

Considering her age, Rok-C has accomplished a lot in her career. Despite being on NXT, she has already become the future of the WWE. Roxanne entered her second Royal Rumble Match this year. Looking at her accolades, the Stamford-based company is looking to project the former NXT Women’s Champion as the next big star who is going to pull the cart for decades to come.

On last week’s NXT, Perez was seen backstage complaining about how Lola Vice and Shotzi are getting in her way of securing the gold. Wren Sinclair tried to calm her down and insisted Shotzi was from SmackDown and had a better set of accolades. Sinclair’s speech took an ugly turn when the former ROH Champion punched her.

As a result, they both got themselves into a match. Since this week’s NXT was taped last week, the results are already out. According to Ringside News, Perez defeated Sinclair via submission. Speaking about Shotzi, Lyra Valkyria defended against Lash Legend due to the SmackDown Superstar getting injured.

It will be fascinating to see how the second-youngest NXT Women’s Champion will find her way back into the title picture. With so many credible Superstars rooting to fight for the gold, the path seems difficult for Roxanne. Only time will tell what is next for the experienced Superstar with a massive career ahead of her.
