Charlotte Flair recently enjoyed one of the most successful returns in WWE history. She defeated Ronda Rousey to capture the SmackDown Women’s Championship. With this win, she’s now a 14-time Women’s Champion in WWE. As the strap is now tied around the waists of The Queen, she’s got enough enemies to take care of.

With the Royal Rumble premium live event inching closer, the company is making plans for their top champions. With that being said, a significant update has emerged on Charlotte’s status for the event. According to Xero News, a rematch between Flair and Rousey won’t be happening at the first WWE PLE of 2023.

As most were under the same impression for a rematch, the new regime doesn’t works like the old one. They might’ve someone prepared in their books to have them against the newly crowned SmackDown Women’s Champion. There are some viable names on the blue brand who can take the challenge.

Before Charlotte turned up and drastically changed the picture of SmackDown Women’s division, there were plans to have her win the Women’s Royal Rumble match. However, the creative decided to pull out an unpredictable act that would see The Queen capture the gold.

Nonetheless, Flair has once again risen to the top and needs a believable opponent to fight. With Ronda Rousey seemingly out of the long-term title scenario, WWE needs to look past her. Some previous reports from Xero News continuously stated Bianca Belair as The Queen’s Mania opponent.

So being said, the EST has to get rid off her present storyline with Alexa Bliss. As seen on Raw this week, little Miss Bliss got snapped following some Bray Wyatt flashes on screen. She further laid out the EST, leaving her brutally injured. The situation at present seems a bit tricky as to how they’ll get to Bianca vs. Charlotte.
