WWE Survivor Series 2023 is scheduled to take place at Allstate Arena in Chicago. Ever since it was announced, there have been several rumors about the return of CM Punk. WWE has tried its best to shut down the rumors by even disclosing the return of Randy Orton. However, the talks still look to be going strong, as another former WWE star, Ryback, chose to react to them.

In his recent post on ‘X’, the Big Guy announced that if CM Punk makes his return to the Survivor Series, then he will officially retire from pro wrestling. He then went on to promote his nutrition brand in the post. While the statement seems like a nice draw to get people to look at his nutrition brand, it also speaks about the influence Punk’s potential return can have.

Ryback is one of the most controversial names. He is also someone who was not very admiring of Punk during his time in WWE. Such a statement could also reflect the vendetta that he still holds against the Second City Saint. His statement has created a buzz among the fans. He is someone who doesn’t take well to rumors of this kind.

Ryback is one of the most controversial names. He often becomes the epicenter of controversy due to his remarks. The former WWE star never leaves any chance to lambast WWE and Vince McMahon. For those who don’t know, Ryback last wrestled a match for WWE in 2016.

He battled Kalisto in the kick-off match at WWE Payback, where he suffered a loss. He stayed on the independent circuit till 2018. Since then, he has worked on his podcast, Ryback TV. He picks up a range of topics that usually focus on his time at the Stamford-based company.

When Paul Heyman refused to acknowledge his time managing Ryback

Former WWE Superstar Ryback had a short run with WWE. He started his run as a singles star. The 42-year-old even got a chance to get managed by Paul Heyman, who is a genius in professional wrestling. Now that The Big Guy has been away from the Stamford-based company for seven years, it seems even Paul Heyman is unwilling to acknowledge his time with him.

It came to the surface as part of an altercation between Ryback and former WWE Superstar Mansoor. The latter responded to the allegations of lack of charisma from The Big Guy by highlighting a conversation with Paul Heyman.

The Wise Man was asked about his time with Ryback by calling the latter “Heyman’s boy.” However, Paul Heyman was quite unhappy about it and asked him to never bring up the time he shared with Ryback again.

It seems Ryback and Paul Heyman will never bury the hatchet. While Heyman continues to mind his own business, Ryback has a history of calling out individuals from WWE. On several occasions, The Big Guy chose to verbally attack Heyman. He has also expressed how he would never like him. Time will tell if these two individuals are going to cross paths or not.
