After winning the opener, Sami Zayn, Drew McIntyre, and other superstars showcased their own moves on RRR's very own Oscar-winning song, Nattu Nattu.

The Superstar Spectacle event kicked off with an impromptu 6-man tag-team match. The local boys, Indus Sher and Jinder Mahal squared off against the team of Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and Drew McIntyre. As per the footage captured by the attendees in Hyderabad, the action was fast-paced and involved an even Steven tussle. The babyfaces eventually prevailed over Jinder Mahal, Veer, and Sanga when the Scottish Warrior pinned Mahal.
However, the post-match segment was exactly what grabbed everyone’s attention. As soon as the G.M.C. Balayogi Arena played the Oscar-winning song Nattu Nattu, Boy-o-Boy, the scenes after it were iconic. Drew McIntyre, Jinder Mahal, Sami Zayn, and Matt Riddle flaunted some dance moves as the crowd exulted in jubilation. However, Kevin Owens decided to enjoy the Indian-themed hubbub while sitting on a turnbuckle.
It’s quite evident that the WWE Superstars are having a blast out there in Hyderabad. The streets of the city have been on the moon for the past week or so. The local vendors and taxi drivers were more than pumped to feature John Cena’s poster on their day-to-day equipment. The superstars have delivered an incredible show at Superstar Spectacle.
Apart from that, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn also spent some quality time roaming around the roads less traveled in the south-Indian state. Footage from WWE India followed Sami Zayn’s city visit on a Rickshaw. He looked super excited as the former Honorary Uce also waved at a passer-by whilst stuck in an inevitable Indian traffic jam. Nonetheless, that’s what separates this great nation from others—its unmatched vibrancy.
WWE Superstar Spectacle hijacked with CM Punk chants
If the Superstar Spectacle was an inch short of someone’s liking, the three-hour-long show had plenty of drama as well. Apart from several randomly put-together matches, CM Punk’s chants came out of nowhere. During Natalya’s showdown against Zoey Stark, the Balayogi arena shouted Punk’s name at the top of their lungs more than for the actual match.
Fan footage corroborates the above-mentioned statement. It’s been a while since CM Punk chants made it to a WWE show. However, the adrenaline from last night in India was palpable, and fans were just having a blast out there. It’s high time for the WWE’s higher-ups to monitor the huge market size of the South Asian nation. India arguably has the biggest fanbase of WWE and it was conspicuous at Superstar Spectacle 2023.
