Recently, an old tweet of Sami Zayn became viral where he stated that John Cena was “raving” over his encounter with Finn Balor at a WWE live event in Florida. This suggests that the multi-time World Champion is a Zayn fan at heart.

Sami Zayn announced on Twitter that John Cena saw his bout against fellow former NXT Champion Finn Balor at a WWE live event in Fort Myers, Florida, back in 2021. He wrote, “John Cena watched my match with Finn Balor tonight in Fort Myers, FL and was raving about how great it was, and it made me feel good.”

That night, John Cena wasn’t just a spectator at the event. In fact, The Marine star wrestled in the main event of the non-televised event. In the show’s main event, Cena teamed up with Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio to take on The Usos and Roman Reigns in six-man tag team combat.
