This afternoon at WWE Crown Jewel, Seth Rollins put his World Heavyweight title on the line against Drew McIntyre. This clash unfolded following a string of tense moments between the two. The match kicked off on a high for McIntyre as the entire Mohammed Abdu Arena went unglued for The Scottish Warrior. However, the ending, which saw Sami Zayn‘s arrival, was shocking.

Though Seth tried to evade the vociferous folks behind McIntyre, the latter gained initial momentum. The champ tried to soften up his opponent through a couple of springboard maneuvers, but to no avail. Rollins’ back came into play after McIntyre countered a Superplex into a Brainbuster. Drew completely rattled Seth’s broken frame with a wicked slam on the ring apron.

Shoving McIntyre, courtesy of a slap to his face, Rollins executed a pedigree only for Drew to kick out. The Scottish Warrior somehow powered out of Rollins’ stomp, and the latter went in disbelief. The Visionary followed suit as he kicked out of McIntyre’s Claymore kick.

However, just when the Scottish Warrior thought he’s going to put away the Champion, Rollins superkicked Drew, followed by a pedigree and the stomp to retain his title. Just then, Damian Priest came out with the intention of cashing in his MITB contract. However, a hoodied Sami Zayn prevented it from happening and eloped with Priest’s briefcase. Sami Zayn received a thunderous reaction at Crown Jewel

During the kickoff show, Sami Zayn battled through JD McDonagh. On his entrance, the Mohammad Abdu Arena in Riyadh came unglued. It felt like Zayn came out of his hometown of Montreal. Taking advantage of the crowd being on his side, the former Honorary Uce made McDonagh pay.

He tossed The Irish Ace so hard at times. After an entertaining contest, Sami defeated McDonagh with a Helluva Kick followed by the Blue Thunder Bomb. Now, as mentioned above, Zayn still has Damian Priest’s MITB briefcase, and that’s enough to piss off The Judgment Day.

Seemingly, Sami is not done with the villainous stable. This week on Raw, the Master Strategist vowed to fight till there’s no more Judgment Day in existence. It will be interesting to see how things unfold from here.
