Sami Zayn is one of the most prominent superstars in WWE. He is currently the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion. In a recent tweet, Zayn expressed his desire to wrestle one more match with NJPW wrestler Kota Ibushi before he retires. It is noteworthy to mention that the Sami Zayn established his name in the independent scene before signing with WWE.

Former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kota Ibushi was seen in a viral video shooting fireworks while standing atop a car. Ibushi held a firework in his hand and shot it in the direction of the sky. Moreover, the NJPW star was seen shooting the firework towards him, leaving the fans startled. The clip went viral like wildfire and is getting a lot of responses from fans and fellow wrestlers.

One of the biggest superstars to respond to the video was Sami Zayn. The 38-year-old has had a decade-long career in the independent scene as El Generico. He crossed paths with some of the most significant wrestlers, such as Kota Ibushi, Kenny Omega and Kevin Steens. These matches were highly acclaimed and are fondly remembered by many indie fans.

Sami Zayn responded to the viral video, saying that Ibushi is a lunatic man and a gift to pro-wrestling industry. Moreover, he said that he wants to wrestle the NJPW superstar once again before Zayn career is over. Sami Zayn currently holds the WWE Tag Team Championships with Kevin Owens. The duo won the title from The Usos at WrestleMania 39 after a highly acclaimed feud with The Bloodline.

After feuding with The Usos for months, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens finally defeated the longest-reigning tag team champions at WrestleMania 39. Moreover, they were drafted to Raw during the WWE Draft this year. Therefore, they will be defending their tag team titles on the red brand in a fresh feud.

On the latest episode of Raw, they faced the team of Giovani Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser in a match that was set up at the beginning of the episode. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn defeated the members of The Imperium in a non-title main event at Raw. With Zayn and Owens moving to the red brand, it will usher in a fresh beginning for them.

The other tag teams that have been drafted to Raw are The Alpha Academy, Los Lotharios, Braun Strowman and Ricochet, The New Day, The Judgment Day, and The Viking Raiders. It will be interesting to see what happens in the tag team division on Monday Night Raw.
