“Man, I love Hunter,” Saraya reveals Triple H’s reaction to her decision to leave WWE

Saraya has been a big part of WWE, and her exit from the company shocked many fans across the globe. While the news came as a shock to the fans, there were many inside the WWE authorities who did not know about her decision, and one such name was Triple H. A well-wisher and friend of Saraya, Triple H didn’t know that she had bid goodbye to the WWE ring.
Saraya created an identity for herself through her brilliant work in the WWE ring. Working as Paige in the company, she rose to the peak of her professional career at a very young age. She became the inaugural NXT Women’s Champion as well as the youngest WWE Divas Champion. Quitting the company in such a short period of time was a shock for everyone and wasn’t very well received by ‘Hunter’ as she claims in an interview with Metro.co.uk.
“Man, I do love Hunter, he’s so fantastic. He was like, ‘Wait what happened?’” she said. Triple H had no idea why Paige broke ties with the company. She then told him that the company hadn’t renewed her contract, to which ‘The Game’ had a rather shocking reaction. “Oh my gosh! Well I didn’t know that, so I’m sorry!” he said.
The genuine care that he had for Paige was enough to melt her heart. Triple H had been quite supportive of her. He offered her the spot as the GM of the company. He even opened the gates for her to step back into the world of professional wrestling and supported all the ideas that she had in her mind. But she wanted more freedom in her professional life.

Why did Saraya choose AEW over WWE?
Saraya’s exit from WWE wasn’t an easy decision. While there was always an open spot for her inside the WWE ring, she feared that the company might put her back in the same position she previously held in the company. Her injury had a massive impact on her professional growth. While WWE didn’t clear her for in-ring action multiple times, she didn’t like appearing in non-action roles.
Her decision to join AEW was strengthened by the fact that all of her friends — Renee Paquette, Jon Moxley aka Dean Ambrose, and Chris Jericho, were already signed with the brand. They wanted her to join too. She is open to new experiences, and the prospect of working for a new company piqued her interest.
In addition to it, she made all the terms and conditions clear, along with Tony khan, in case she joins his company. Tony Khan agreed to offer her the freedom and liberty that she asked for, which she wanted badly at WWE. This led her to finally arrive at a conclusion and step inside the AEW as Saraya.
