“We have to go after RK-Bro”: Sasha Banks intends to go after the Raw Tag Team titles

Sasha Banks is currently one-half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions on the main roster. She currently holds the titles, along with Naomi. The duo went on to win the titles at Wrestlemania Sunday, held earlier this month. Interestingly, they are one of the newly-formed Tag Teams – yet they have gained immense success in a short span of time.
The Boss and Naomi were in action at the Showcase of Immortals – in a Fatal 4-Way Tag Team match. The managed to defeat – Liv Morgan & Rhea Ripley, Shayna Baszler & Natalya as well as Carmella & Queen Zelina to win the titles. But this isn’t the first time that Banks has been holding the titles.
In fact, this is Sasha Banks’ third reign as the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Her previous two reigns came with “The Role Model” Bayley. Quite predictably, on both the instances, the reigns ended with The Boss turning on Bayley!
While the Tag Team partners may worry about their teammate turning on them at a later stage, the issue at hand is the fact that there are no Tag Teams left to stand up to Sasha Banks and Naomi! Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan who seemed like title contenders have broken up – with Ripley attacking Morgan!
Carmella and Queen Zelina have gone on their separate ways as well. Natalya and Shayna Baszler are not officially a Tag Team – indicating that there isn’t any Tag Team on the roster to challenge the current Women’s Tag Team Champions. This fact came to Banks’ notice and she joked about going after Raw Tag Team Champions – RK-Bro instead! “Looks like we have to go after RK-bro now too,” she tweeted.
Sasha Banks would eventually turn on Naomi
It is only a matter of time before Sasha Banks will turn on her partner Naomi. But this turn is most likely to come after the titles are taken off them. But the issue currently lies in the fact that they have no one to left to stand up to them.
The most likely option is going to be the formation of a new Tag Team. Superstars like Alexa Bliss, Bayley or Asuka could make their returns – form a team and go after the Women’s Tag Team titles. There are already new stars on the roster like Raquel Rodriguez, but its unlikely that she will be going after the Tag Team titles anytime soon.
