The Tokyo Dome got blessed with one of the top wrestling stars, the former WWE Women’s Champion Sasha Banks, in the NJPW ring as Mercedes Moné. She made her way to the ring in an adorable manner and went straight to confront KAIRI, the IWGP Women’s Champion. She even got a title shot at the upcoming NJPW event, ‘Battle in the Valley’, which will take place next month in San Jose.
KAIRi was barely celebrating her win when the lights went out. Soon, money-themed music played in the background, and a lean figure appeared in a glistening costume. She was none other than Mercedes Moné, aka Sasha Banks. She made her way to the ring, vibing to the music and flaunting her physique.
Mercedes went ahead to congratulate KAIRI and soon modified the handshake and landed the Women’s Champion straight on the ground. Being away from in-ring action, the move wasn’t delivered in a clear manner. However, she clearly showed why she was at the division. Mercedes delivered a great promo and called herself “the CEO of the women’s division.”
“I’m the standard, the conversation, the blueprint, and the CEO of this women’s division. So KAIRI-san, enjoy your IWGP Women’s Championship while you can,” she told KAIRI. She challenged the current women’s champion for the match at San Jose which is a month away. “I’m going to leave you bankrupt, b*tch,” she added. You can see her entire debut here.

Banks walked out of the WWE ring back in May 2022 along with her tag team partner Naomi. This caused the two women to be taken out of the company. After vacating their titles, the two women were suspended from the WWE ring for an indefinite period. However, there were rumors of Banks joining the NJPW cast, and she is, Mercedes Moné, to dominate the division!
