Sasha Banks and Naomi are the former Women's Tag-Team Champions
One of the hottest topics of discussion this year was the infamous walkout of Sasha Banks & Naomi prior to the May 16th edition of Monday Night Raw. There was alleged heat between both the parties in regards to their creative direction and how they’ve been treated as of late. A theory even stated that Sasha Banks in particular was upset about WWE handing over her Smackdown Women’s Championship spot over to Ronda Rousey at no cost ignoring behind the hardwork and efforts The Boss put during her period in the last few years.
In addition, both Sasha and Naomi were reportedly adamant on presenting the Women’s Tag-Team Championship more prominently on television but the creative ideas were the only thing that was stopping them to do so. After finally having enough, these women decided to quite possibly take the gutsiest step of their entire career and throwing off their belts on John Laurinaitis’ desk before eventually leaving the arena. WWE made a public hell out of this incident trying to defame the images of both superstars as much as they could.
Finally, after few weeks of their suspension Sasha Banks got quietly released from WWE which came to a massive disappointment for her fans and everyone started wondering what her next step in wrestling could be with AEW being the most likely option in mind but she didn’t went there. Talking about Naomi, although there haven’t been any clearence on her WWE status she was also released from the company after all the back and forth developments.

Sasha Banks & Naomi have been added on WWE’s Internal Roster
A few days ago, WrestlingNews.co reported that Sasha and Naomi have agreed to once again return to WWE under Triple H as the creative lead. This would ensure one thing that both were expecting from the older management of Vince McMahon and that’s some creative freedom including better treatment of the Women’s Tag-Team Championships and they’ve been taken a lot of spotlight as of late as the ongoing tournament to crown new winners for those vacant titles have already reached it’s final stage.
Tonight on WWE Raw from Pittsburgh, Dakota Kai & IYO SKY will take on Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah in the finals of Tag-Team Tournament and the biggest thing out of this is expected to happen right at the end and that includes Sasha and Naomi’s return to confront the winners on tonight’s show. In addition, both women have been once again placed on the Internal Roster listings according to Bryan Alvarez seemingly confirming their WWE arrival already.
