Sasha Banks dawns new look ahead of her rumored WWE return

There has been a lot of heat on WWE since Naomi and Sasha Banks left the company due to their creative differences. The move felt shocking as the two walked out in the middle of the show and were enjoying their run as Raw Women’s Tag Team Champion. But, the reports said that the two were allegedly not happy with the creative direction in which the company was leading them into. Therefore on the May 16th edition of Raw both of them walked out after keeping their titles on the Talent Manager’s table.

The two were not seen since then until now when they made an appearance at C2E2 in a fan-signing event. This was the duo’s first appearance in public post their WWE fallout. Though last week a tweet from WWE’s official Twitter handle sparked rumors among fans that both Naomi and Sasha could be making a return soon. As the tweet read- “With #SummerSlam in the rearview, who will make the biggest statement tonight on #WWERaw?”

The tweet caught the attention of many as the choice of words indicated a cryptic message. This was due to the fact that both superstars’ finishing maneuvers’ names were used in the tweet. While Naomi uses “The Rearview” as her finisher, Banks’ finisher is called- “The Bank Statement”. Though the two didn’t return to Raw that night, if reports are to be believed then both the superstars are on negotiating terms with the company.

Though it still needs to be seen when will the duo make their return to the company, fans were quick to notice the new look of Sasha Banks as she had her wigs on. But this time the wig looked more colorful adding shades of yellow and red to her hair. The superstars are expected to make a comeback under the aegis of new leadership at the helm now.

Since Vince McMahon is no more controlling the action in the company, we have seen a lot of returns from the likes of Karrion Kross, Scarlett Bordeaux, Bayley, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY to name a few. Though, WWE announced that the tag team tournament for championships will begin on Monday Night Raw this coming week. Since there are no participants announced for the match there are high chances that Sasha and Naomi could make their WWE return soon.
