UPDATE: Backstage News On Sasha Banks’ possible firing by WWE

Mercedes Justine Kaestner-Varnado who is widely known around the world as Sasha Banks is a former multiple time WWE Women’s Champion. Sasha Banks is one of the most acknowledged and talented female wrestlers in the whole of wrestling industry. Sasha Banks is considered as the pioneer of the women’s revolution in WWE along with fellow superstars Charlotte Flair , Becky lynch and Bayley.

At Wrestlemania 38 Sasha along with Naomi pinned the team of Carmella and Zelina Vega to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles with Sasha winning the championship for the second time in her career. The two superstars were just 49 days into their title reign when the duo of Sasha and Naomi decided to walk out the company before a weekly episode of Raw. The two reportedly left the titles in John Laurentius office and abruptly left the building.

Following the incident, it was reported on Smackdown that the former WWE Women’s Tag team Champions had been suspended indefinitely and were also stripped of the belts. WWE then went on to remove all the merchandise involving Sasha and Naomi from the website leaving people to speculate. During the most recent Smackdown tapings in Minnesota it was reported that many WWE superstars backstage were found openly discussing the issue involving Sasha and whether or not she had been released by the company.

It was reported that the WWE superstars have not been officially informed about the release of the former WWE Women’s champion and that they ‘would be in a position to know’ if anything of such kind had happened. Fighful Select also reported that the superstars discussing the issue were good friends with banks.

Many wrestling news had recently reported that Banks has been released with one reddit user going on to claim that the boss had been released ‘weeks ago’ by WWE. Following the incident there has been no official statement from Sasha and none from the side of WWE as well. Sasha and Naomi are reportedly to be out of contract soon.
