One of the all-time most entertaining wrestlers from the Attitude Era, Scotty 2 Hotty, is widely remembered for his humorous action and deeds, alongside Grandmaster Sexay as Too Cool. After his career as a competitor, he trained rising stars at the WWE Performance Center and helped produce matches for NXT. However, he parted ways with WWE in November last year, and since done only select independent wrestling shows.

Scotty recently shared his thoughts on intergender wrestling, and urged promoters not to approach him to book him in one. He stated he is 49, with a 20-year-old daughter, and does not wish to wrestle women as he does not like any violence involving women, even if it is staged.

Even though he took part in a few matches during his time with WWE, Scotty said he no longer wants to. After becoming a father, he feels that this is something does not intend to do and that it will be disastrous for him.

Regarding this, Scotty received a lot of backlash, and it’s been said that his remark was highly contentious. The wrestler deleted his Twitter account after this message, since he was tired of this situation, shocking everyone in the process.

Fans rushed to support Scotty 2 Hotty, after he deleted his Twitter account. Many fans strongly believe he did not start any significant movement against inter gender wrestling, despite some making it to look that way.

Scotty was merely expressing his age and disinterest in wrestling, so what is wrong with that? Fans have been tweeting these things, but nobody is sure if the veteran wrestler would return to Twitter because of the hate messages and criticism
