In a recent interview with Sport1, Seth Rollins said that everyone in his hometown’s independent wrestling scene was on their own, including him. According to Rollins, one must make their own decisions in the independent circuits and that trying to adapt into a large corporation like WWE was a cultural shock. He claimed that when he was told he was mistaken during his training, it was a totally different experience for him and that he wasn’t quite prepared for it. As a result, there was a lot of conflict, strained working relationships, and bridges burned, but eventually things improved and he can now look back on that time as an experience he gained and grow from it.

Road Dogg recently said that Seth Rollins had poor habits and was obstinate during his time at the WWE developmental center, adding that Rollins wasn’t in the mood to hear recommendations or advise from him. Rollins also shed light on that matter in the same interview and said that he was 25-year-old back then and wasn’t quite matured at that time. He admitted to being stubborn but such type of his personality helped him gain confidence. Seth Rollins also revealed that it was difficult for him to adjust as he came to WWE from a whole different world.

“Well, I was 25, 26 then, now I’m 36. If you don’t mature a bit over time, you’ve done something wrong (laughs). I used to be pretty stubborn, that’s true, and that was a problem starting in WWE twelve years ago and going through the NXT roster. On the other hand, my personality helped me because you need confidence to make it here, but it was difficult for me. It must also have been because I came from another world.”

It is unknown as to, on what day Seth Rollins’ mystery opponent would be announced.
