“I would like to have a win over him” Seth Rollins reveals he has some unfinished business with Cody Rhodes

Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes have one of the best rivalries of 2022 both are very athletic and very talented wrestlers of WWE. They give all they have in the ring and have almost 5 stars matches. They both had three matches this year one on Wrestle mania, Wrestle mania Backlash, and one in Hell in a Cell.

The three times Cody Rhodes always somehow manage to come on top of Seth Rollins and win the matches after the Hell in a Cell the rivalry was still not ended as after losing Seth Rollins put a sledgehammer on the neck of Cody Rhodes and gave him a vicious beatdown which in the storyline is the reason for Cody’s injury.

Has the rivalry between Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins ended?

Cody Rhodes shocked everyone when he come back to WWE after leaving it in 2016 and co-founding AEW in 2018. After coming back Cody had an excellent rivalry with Seth Rollins and was all over the audience, he was getting very loud cheers and have every single member of the audience behind him.

Cody then got injured and tore his right arm’s pectoral muscle and is out for a minimum of 9 months and will not be returning till 2023 although he won three times over Rollins the rivalry still does not end and maybe when he is back, he will be coming for Seth again.

Even Seth Rollins also said in a recent interview with metro news that he thinks he should be prepared for Cody as it was a huge rivalry of his career and Cody will come after him once he returns to WWE after the injury.

“I mean, I’d like to get a win over him, so yes, I think there’s definitely more there. I would imagine if he comes back he’s probably gonna be gunning for me. I mean, I did put a sledgehammer in the back of his head, injure him a little more. I imagine there’s unfinished business for him as well. So, whenever he does return, I would assume I will have a target on my back”

Although Cody was injured before the match of Hell in a Cell both superstars make sure about the physical activity in the ring as the injury was legitimate and made both the superstars very scared as Cody was not fully medically cleared on that night.
