Seth Rollins ushered into a new era on Monday Night Raw. Emanating from the crowd to kick-off the show, the New World Heavyweight Champion received a deafening ovation. Shortly after he soaked in that euphoria in Albany, he declared his urge to fight. To answer the call, AJ Styles, who’s drafted to SmackDown, showed up. Both superstars displayed mutual respect for each other before getting interrupted by The Judgment Day.
After a fierce back-and-forth, a Tag-Team main-event was set between the involved parties. During the segment, Ripley warned Rollins that it’s going to be a member of The Judgment Day to dethrone him, someday. To close the night, Rollins & Styles faced Priest & Balor. Well, The Visionary was on cloud nine the whole period.
At one point, he recreated that hilarious moment with Rhea Ripley from Survivor Series 2006. At the namesake event, Shawn Michaels slid to the ringside area and hugged Melina. The A-list Diva enjoyed that physical interaction until she realized it’s HBK. Fans at the arena broke in laughter following that amusing exchange between them.
Paying homage to the same, Seth Rollins did the exact with Rhea Ripley last night. Following this, a string of memes was shared on social media. Fans loved that callback and would hope that WWE continues adding these light-hearted moments into their programming more often. In the closing moments, Rollins stomped Priest to pick up the victory for his side. You can watch the complete interaction below.

Who will be the first challenger for Seth Rollins?
Last night’s Raw didn’t indicated much about Rollins’ first challenger for the World Heavyweight Title. However, the wait might be over next week. His short-lived alliance with AJ Styles was made to even the odds against The Judgment Day on the red brand. So being said, that purpose is now served and the villainous stable are potentially eyeing those tag titles from Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens.
With all the miscellaneous shenanigans in the rear-view, Seth Rollins would love to know who he’s going to battle at Money in the Bank. As of now, there’s no concrete update regarding his opponent. A floating rumor being churned out by the mill includes a returning Drew McIntyre possibly taking out The Architect, turning heel in the process. Also, with MITB being in the United Kingdom, McIntyre will be a perfect name to kick-off Rollins’ era.
