Monday Night Raw was quite the show this week. Triple H introduced the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. The title was reminiscent of the big golden belt. The belt will find its worthy heir on May 27 at Night of Champions. Having another world title, especially one that is defended on every show, would do the company a world of good.
Since the announcement, a lot of superstars have thrown their names into the hat for the title. However, the most notable of the lot has to be Seth Rollins. Rollins came out to the ring and delivered an absolutely fiery promo about the new championship, which in turn took a dig at Roman Reigns.
He spoke about how this championship would help the industry move forward and take it beyond politics and part-timers. Which was a dig at the Universal Champion, Roman Reigns. Triple H had earlier stated that Roman’s title run may be historic, but his not defending the title often has indeed hurt the business and that they need a fighting champion.
Seth Rollins is perhaps the only superstar Roman Reigns didn’t beat in his historic reign. Seth won their encounter at the Rumble last year via disqualification due to a low blow from Roman. After which, Roman battered Seth with a steel chair. Seth also stated that the championship gives superstars the opportunity to fight.

What’s next for the Visionary?
Rollins is fresh off a victory against Logan Paul at WrestleMania. As for Backlash, Rollins was oddly thrown into a match against Omos with absolutely no buildup to the storyline.
Rollins is an extremely talented superstar and highly decorated too. He has proved time and again that he’s capable of being the face of the company and can burden that responsibility. He hasn’t been part of a major storyline in a long time, considering the fact that he’s super over with the fans it’s kind of amusing. He’s a credible name to be the new World Heavyweight Champion.
