The LA Knight hype train is picking up steam every day. Apart from veterans of this industry, the former Eli Drake is now being lauded by his counterparts. The latest one to put him over is none other than Seth Rollins. The Visionary recently offered his two cents on the ongoing boom in Knight’s popularity among fans.
Speaking to Fox News Digital, the World Heavyweight Champion spoke highly of LA Knight. Acknowledging his incredible prowess to connect with the audience, Rollins called Knight a throwback to the Attitude Era. “And the LA Knight thing, he’s got a call and response thing with the audience. He’s got that feeling that he’s being held down a little bit. He’s got that chip on his shoulder. And, in some ways, he’s just a throwback to the Attitude Era,” said Rollins.
Then, Rollins addressed the outdated theory, citing LA Knight as a rip-off of icons like The Rock and Steve Austin. Viewing the coin from the other side, Seth turned out to be quite optimistic about those comparisons. The Architect argued that if someone reminds the fans of evergreen personalities like Rock and Austin, it’s a win for that particular superstar. Fans have been well-versed in Knight’s cadence, which resembles that of The Great One.
At the end, Seth Rollins declared the sky’s the limit for LA Knight. He put forth his intentions to visualize the 40-year-old’s immediate future in WWE. Rollins admitted that Knight has reinvigorated his character, which would make the case far more interesting than ever before. The fans would hope for an epic rivalry between these veterans sooner, rather than later. It remains to be seen how long until they cross paths with each other.

LA Knight has finally bagged a spot at SummerSlam

Amidst the growing demand for LA Knight’s push in WWE, he has now punched his ticket for SummerSlam. After the US Title Invitational debacle for The Megastar, fans were utterly disappointed. It seemed as if the only hope to get Knight on the card in Detroit just went away. However, with the introduction of Slim Jim’s SummerSlam Battle Royal, Knight booked his berth first and foremost.
He approached Adam Pearce on last week’s SmackDown and got his wish fulfilled. However, he soon got interrupted by The Brawling Brutes. Their leader, Sheamus, too, demanded his spot in the Battle Royal. Also, to judge who’ll carry the momentum heading into The Biggest Party of the Summer, Pearce announced Sheamus vs. Knight for SmackDown next week.
All signs are pointing towards LA Knight’s big weekend in Michigan. The newly added Battle Royal seems like a way to get him on the card in the Motor City. If he pulls off the win in front of a capacity crowd at Ford Field, fans could expect bigger things for The Megastar in the future. He’s been long overdue for a proper push. Finally, things are looking positive for the former Impact Wrestling star.
